Parent School Association

Welcome to Driffield Junior School Parent School Association (PSA).

We are a partnership of parents, carers, and staff who work together to support learning by raising funds to help enhance children’s lives throughout their time at school.

The DJS PSA is a hard-working and sociable group, and the good news is that any parent or guardian with a child at this school is automatically eligible to join.  The committee meets roughly every term to discuss fund raising events, expenditure plans and any future plans for the academic year.

Recently, the PSA has purchased new playtime equipment, recorders to help with music lessons, helped fund a travelling Christmas production, bought Christmas party prizes for each year group, have funded a WWI visitor to come to school to give the year 5 pupils a virtual reality war experience and hired an ice cream van to come onto school site for an end of year summer treat!

Committee members are elected at our AGM in the autumn term.
